Guarantor

Not sure where this should go, so feel free to move.
When one of my daughters moved in to her house, my sister went as guarantor. She signed an agreement for six months. My daughter has been living there for some months passed that now, so what happens about my sister as guarantor?

If you have proof of the 6 month agreement, and the 6 months have expired, & no new agreement has been signed, then there is no more agreement.

That's what I thought, seems strange the estate agents have overlooked it,
