  • Updated Form D81 clarification sought.

Can anyone clarify this for me please?

I'm looking at the new Form D81. It has only recently been updated yet I have signed copies using the old form. I found the paragraph below that implies that the old form can't be used after the 18th. It's a bit ambiguous to me though; whan it says signed no later than the 18th does that mean signed as recieved by the court or is it ok if I send in old forms that were dated last week?

"The new Form D81 (Statement of information for a consent order in relation to a financial remedy) has been published by the Government’s assets publishing service. Pursuant to FPR r. 5.1(1) and PD 5A para 1.1 and tables 1 and 2, the new form is to be used immediately. However, the FRC will continue to accept consent orders accompanied by the old form provided that the old form has been signed no later than Friday, 18 February 2022."

    Thanks.

Just to explain; I read this to mean that provided the old form is signed and dated by both the applicant and respondant before the 18th it's all ok. However, I am being advised that the form is not acceptable if submitted to the court after the 18th Feb irrespective of the signature dates. Quite different and I don't want the submission rejected.
