Thought these might be useful for peeps. Any views on the videos welcome.
We've produced three videos for people involved in a family court case but who don't have a lawyer. We filmed them at Bristol Civil Justice Centre in March 2014.
They don't have any law in them - they are intended to provide basic, practical guidance for people who are nervous about what is in store.
There are three videos in the series :
Video 1 : The Family Court Without a Lawyer - Preparing for your first court hearing
Video 2 : The Family Court Without a Lawyer - The hearing itself
Video 3 : The Family Court Without a Lawyer - Giving evidence and challenging evidence
You are welcome to embed or share the links to the videos, we just ask that in return you link back and give credit under the creative commons licence.
Our thanks go to all the volunteers from St John's Chambers and elsewhere who participated in the films, and to Bath Publishing, Tom Knott (sound), Matt Ward at Housecat Productions (film) and to Bristol Civil Justice Centre.
