Situation: 3rd cycle in family court
Why: This time it is because kiddo refuses to go and I was terrified I was breaking the court order so took it back to court. Dad didn’t care about it at all until court. Domestic violence is in play but dad refutes this exponentially.

I received an incredibly damning CAFCASS report on December 23rd where the Cafcass officer has completely misrepresented and twisted everything both myself and my child had said. This woman spent 1 hour with me, 40 mins with my kid and 4/6 hours with dad. The report has said I’m influencing my child and forcing them to do things which is completely untrue. The entire thing sounds like the father wrote the report. Kiddo is 13 and despises dad but will tell Cafcass the opposite because kiddo hates talking about it and doesn’t trust Cafcass as kiddo doesn’t feel like they listen at all.

I have to produce a position/witness statement by 3rd Jan but my solicitors is now shut till Jan 6th and is uncontactable. We go to trial on Jan 14th with an absolutely horrendous judge.

I have zero idea what to do, it’s evident that I’m going to need to apply for an extension because I don’t know what I need to do with the statement or even how to submit it, this was meant to be done with my solicitors help and guidance.

How do I go about this? What do I need to do?
