Hi Everyone, I am hoping someone can help advise.
When applying for primary schools via our LA (LA1) we chose 1 school (preferred) from another LA (LA2).
School 1 (LA2)
School 2 (LA1)
School 3 (LA1)
We were offered a place at School 1 and accepted the offer. The following day we were told the offer is to be withdrawn. The offer was incorrectly made due to a 'technical error'. We have now been offered a place at School 3. Our preference for School 1 is due to the size of the school and the needs of our child. Our child is currently being assessed and is applying for an EHCP, whilst all schools chosen advise they can support children with SEN, class sizes is a key factor for our child. Schools 2 and 3 are at a minimum 40% per class larger than School 1.
Whilst this is important for my child, I do not know if I have sufficient basis for an appeal, based on the reason for the offer withdrawal.
Any advice/help, would be appreciated.
