I had a non molestation order (without notice) approved and received confirmation from family court that bailiffs were unable to serve the order to the respondent at the home address which I provided. There’s a return hearing scheduled for next week which I now expect the respondent will not show up to since the order hasn’t been served so he will be unaware of the court hearing date.
1/ How many attempts to bailiffs make; are there repeated attempts? will I get more insight at the return hearing on the bailiffs attempts/eg how many times they visited the address, whether they were informed by someone else at the property that the respondent is no longer residing there etc?
2/ what steps will the courts take now? are they able to serve it via an alternative method e.g. email, WhatsApp, or even attempt a place of work or study? would they permit myself as the applicant to send via e.g. email/WhatsApp or would they keep ownership of that?
Thanks in advance,
