I live in a house co-owned by my ex-partner I have a question as to whether the co-owner of the home (ex-partner) can enter the house or try to live here in a situation where?:
- We have been divorced for four years, we have no children
- The ex-partner moved out four years earlier and has not lived in this house since,
- He does not pay any bills related to the house, such as mortgage, taxes, water rates, etc.,
- No agreements have been made on the division of the property (I tried twice, but he always backed out at the last moment).
- I live alone in the house and pay all the bills and the mortgage.
In this situation, does the ex-partner have the right to come in when he likes or tries to move in and live in this house?
-If he comes in and I want to see the house inside, do I have the right not to let him in?
He threatens me that he will come with the police or come in when I am not there.
Thank you for your answers in advance.
