Hi,
I can pay of my mortgage which I have solely been paying for years before getting married. I acquired the house before I met my partner.
If I fully pay off the remaining is there any advantages of the absolute worst happens and we divorced? (Hate to even think that is a possibility)
Would the house be classed fully as an asset before marriage that way? Would it be at less risk of being split 50/50 or would I have any more rights when the assets are divided?
Any advice appreciated
Any advantage to fully paying off mortgage before marriage? House solely in my name
