Can it be that someone who works in a care home or NHS could have links to Social Services and keep watch over an individual they believe to be vulnerable without that person's knowledge; especially if that person has had an involvement with social services in the past? This seems to be the case of someone I know and yet Social Services say that play no part in it.
(Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section. I have been trying to get answers and been scolded for not using the forum correctly. Hope I have got it right this time).

The person involved has now had a safeguarding concern raised about them. Should they have a solicitor present when a social worker of a triage team questions them? They feel they should say nothing and friends have advised them not to get involved. Advice if possible, please.
