    every time it's evening I hear my neighbors swear!A couple of times I even thought to call the police because there was something terrible going on! but what can I do lonely fragile woman

    If they're being too loud maybe knock on the door and explain that you can hear swearing in the evening and that it is disturbing you. Or you could slip a note or a letter through the letter box.*

        If your neighbors get under your skin with their loud music or they just argue loudly, you have the right to be annoyed only if it is actually a legitimate complaint.

        I think first of all you should tell them personally not to make noise loudly. If it works, good else you can complain about it.
