My 13 year old disabled grandson is going to a ten pin bowling complex for his sisters birthday treat with adult members of their immediate family. My grandson needs a carer but is physically able and they need to go in the evening when the adults have finished work. The complex have said the concessions they normally offer (which is half price for a disabled person and their carer), end at 6pm at which time they charge the normal rate for everyone regardless of any disability. Is this an acceptable rule? There seems to be no reason for this rule apart from there is more demand for evening slots. Thank you for any advice x
Is this discrimination?

No. There's no grounds for discrimination there. Your grandson isn't being refused entry to the complex on the grounds of his disability, (which would be discriminatory), they just say he has to pay full price for enter after 6pm. There's no obligation on their part to even offer a discount before 6pm but a lot of leisure firms do so because it wins them some good faith from the public.
