White Flag

So I am officially waving the white flag. I surrender!

They've won.

I called in today to say I won't be in due to severe pain still and was told "well that will block the transfer to another unit."

What's the point of me fighting anymore, all I am getting is stumbling blocks and grief. I hate being there and they are doing their best to get rid of me, and the worst part is I cannot afford to take this further. All I have done today is cry and apply for new jobs, God willing someone will take me on!!

If anyone wins millions on the lottery, the Send Callie to Cork fund is up and running (im JOKING btw!!!)

I don't normally give up without a fight but the pain is horrific and my mental state is deteriorating so it's time to bow out and say you know what.. you win! You got me.

I since complaining about the transfer I have had an unnessacary OH visit, a pending disciplinary for failing DPA (2 days after the internal union came in!) no update on the meeting about my sick leave (how can Hypermobility cause a chest infection?!?!) and you know what..;. it's not worth the agro!

Will update you if anything comes along, unless one of you wants to give me any other ways I can get off this unit?!?!

If OH don't know about EDS what are they doing in that job?
I have a daughter and grand daughter with the syndrome, fortunately only mild, but I can appreciate a little of your problems.

Back to Cork and easily accessible Paddy, no?

The only issue with me going to Cork is understanding them lmao!! My late fiance Aiden was from Cork, and it's a beautiful town! Dad was a Sligoman and Granddaddy was from Rosscommon!

The scary thing is.. I have a Paddy in Cork but he will kill me if he hears me calling him it! (Padraig "It's NOT paddy!!)

See I prefer baileys, which is also has a brewery in Waterford (just think, crystal glasses to drink it out of )

And if you are in to the auld Irish water of life, may I reccomend the Connemara whiskies.. you won't regret it!

we're all Limerick/Clare born (or there abouts) if you go back far enough ... we've still got 2/3rds of the family over there!

***UPDATE***

Applied directly with Recruitment for a job in another department. Put on the application I AM EXISTING STAFF.
They rang me. I reminded them I am staff, I am applying cos I am desperate for a transfer and being ignored PLEASE give me this job to be told to apply for a transfer and wait.

i said I have been waiting a year and being ignored, "nothing I can do to help. just apply for a transfer, but you're perfect for the job!"

THEN GIVE ME THE POXY THING!!!!!!

I'm already there, I don't even need the interview!!!!! It even says on the CV I submitted that I work there and you called me!!!!

I give up. I have literally done EVERYTHING i can to move departments and they just don't care!!!
