Hello,
My friend started off as a 'runner' for a civil engineering company, in his contract it states he is entitled to overtime when he does it.
The company placed him on a jointers course and is working full time on price work (e.g. paid off each joint installed), PLUS any overtime that is required. However the company has stopped paying overtime and is just getting paid for the joints he installed. They say it is not in the jointers contract... But his contract is for a runner still which does...
Is he entitled to this overtime AND the priced work?
Is he only entitled to the priced work?
Is he only entitled to the overtime plus his normal salary?
Please can you help.
Thanks
