Hi, i currently work as a driver for a company that is owned and run by Plymouth Bretheren and have done for the last 2.5 yrs.
I have been driving the companies newest truck since delivery 9 months ago, it had a radio fitted when delivered and has been used 5 days a week from then till now.
On Friday another employee asked about having a radio fitted into his truck as his was one of two out of five vehicles that didnt have working radios fitted, my boss said that he would think about it and let him know.
The boss decided rather than to just say yes or no, to remove the radio out of my truck claiming it was against their religion for it to have been in the truck when it was delivered.
Can he do that?
Not just the taking of the radio but after nine months of driving the truck with a radio installed to then take it away claiming religion, surely he is forcing his religion onto me, can he do that?
Have i just got to suck it up or is there someone\where i can make a complaint to?
