  • Employment Tribunal Strike out response process - help please

    Hi there,
I'm representing myself in the Employment Tribunal process and finding it all very tricky.
I submitted an application to strike out the respondents ET3 response because it contains no defence, just denials. I've had an automated response from the Tribunal so they received it, but nothing else. This was 2 weeks ago. There is a case management preliminary hearing in a couple of weeks.
Could anyone advise me as to what response I should receive from the Tribunal? I called them to ask but they were very officious and gave me A speech about them taking 10-14 days to respond to everything, and no help at all.
Please help, it is so worrying to not to know if I should be chasing them or if this is normal, or what I need to do next.
    thanks in advance

It is highly likely that you are in the period where the other party is being given "a reasonable opportunity to make representations" to respond to your application to strike out. I am not sure of the exact timescale but they will probably be given 14 days to respond back to the Tribunal.
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.

Thanks very much for replying. I wondered about that but thought I should have been copied if they were asked to respond? I haven't had anything.
