Im currently suspended awaiting a hearing regarding a misconduct concern that I feel is a very extreme reaction and I feel im to be made an example of. I have only been employed there 2 months and I am going to resign to save misconduct being on my record. If I do so, can my employer state anything on a reference that states I was under disciplinary proceedings or investigation? I am not going to refer to the investigation in my resignation.
Can they refuse to accept my resignation or give me my 7 days notice?
