lating to this Background: I worked for a project team [my actual role was a sales agent. During a company restructure in May, my team was made permanant. My team were mapped into our roles [we didnt have to apply for them] becuase of this we forefitted our sales roles. I currently get a basic salary of £18500 and fixed monthly commission of £1000
The company have come back with a salary proposal for our the new permanant roles of £22000, i would prefer to be made redundant than accept these terms. I have been advised by my trade union rep that if i do not agree to the salary, the company can give me 28 days notice and impose the new salary.
Apparently this is part of employment law. After some googling i cannot find anything relating to this. Is anyone able to shed some light?
