    Fixed term contract notice query

    Hi everyone

    I took a ftc which is due to end at the end of September this year. My contract says 1 weeks notice on either side. I handed my notice in today stating my last working day would be this Friday.

    Can they insist I finish tomorrow (payday) instead of Friday? If they do..Do they have to pay me until Friday?
