What can an employee do in New York, USA (except for sexual harassment) to not only lose his job but also make himself almost unhireable and his job search as difficult as possible?
Most companies in USA (especially, NYC) are hesitant to give bad references about former employees out of fear of possible lawsuit. So it seems that as long as employee wasn’t prosecuted, he won’t have any trouble finding new job even if he was a racist, drug-addicted sociopath.
Preferably, he was fired after his private e-mails/texts were leaked, exposing some dark secrets, that he tried to hide. Not after he’s done something publicly. What kind of secret could it be?
