Partial outsourcing of major job roles?

Hi All, i have a question regarding outsourcing, basically i feel like massive chunks of my job role are suddenly being outsourced to other external companies. I'm just wondering if this is legal or if theres anything i can do really, there has never been any concern over my performance etc, i just feel like me and another colleague are getting pushed out?

Not alot you can do really to be honest - Though they can not take contractual duties away from you without you agreeing to a variation of contract. But if your still doing all your contractual duties, then i wouldn't start worrying unless they start consultation for redundancies. Though it is also very likely that the company your roles are being outsourced too may want to employ you via Transfer of undertaking i.e. TUPE - In which case your employment will transfer to them, but your contractual terms will remain the same as they currently are including your job title, duties and remuneration etc!
