I work in sales, in a target driven environment. I started the year well, Jan 100% plus, Feb 100% plus, March 58%, the rest of the year to date averaging 94% I thought I was doing well with many sales people below me. In March I was put on a pap ( personal action plan) and assured it was merely a tool to get me up to 100%. I know that other people below me did not go on a pap. Two and a half months later I receive my second written warning!
In fear I was being bullied out of the company, I took a secret recording device to my second hearing. I left it recording whilst I left the room for my employers to deliberate my fate. Even though I had shown improvement and there were sales people below myself, I was still given a second written warning. The recording showed me how little I was regarded by my manager and he fed lies to his manager to say I had to go and he did not want to spend any time in helping me, it was as if my fate was decided by the flip of a coin! It is interesting to note that they were trying to balance me not going on the sick with depression, as in their words " it would be a ----ing nightmare!
I have appealed this 2nd written warning and plan to expose the manager who is bullying me with many examples to show. My question is, do I reveal the recording or leave it for a possible tribunal as I feel I can no longer work for this man knowing his true motives to remove me!
