I have a contract that says my core hours are 06:00 - 09:45 on the days I work ( 3 days a week), it says additional hours are worked on a "flexi" basis but no amount of hours is mentioned neither is a finish time, however when the job was advertised and when I filled in a form at the interview 12:00 was stated as the finish time, the line manager who was in charge when I started has left and now they are saying quite arbitrarily that they want to impose a finish time of 14:00 "when business needs require", they want to maintain the right to have a 09:45 finish, they want to have the right to end the shift at any time after 09:45 and at the same time to demand that people be prepared to work until 14:00. and then send us home at 10.
