  • Points of appeal not upheld.

I raised several points of appeal in my appeal letter and during my appeal hearing. The appeal ended with the employer going away to look into those points. Those points were never mentioned again or referred to in the appeal outcome letter. The employers ET3 form states that 'none of the points of appeal were upheld'. Should the employer have told me in the outcome letter why each point had not been upheld or, did not mentioning them mean they had not been upheld?

Ritey - I don't know the answer. Though I did write a comprehensive appeal letter - they did not discuss each appeal element nor have I received the notes and this was sent on 7 July with an appeal of 29 July. My ex-employers don't do anything unless I remind them numerous times. I have stopped reminding them otherwise I think I am answering all the ET questions for them! I'd hazard a guess they will continue to do as they wish - I am slowly realising they appear to be getting away with it and don't appear too concerned over ETs! :tinysmile_cry_t:
