Hi - just a quick question really: my contract says that discussing pay with other employees is a disciplinary offence, but according to my internet meanderings, it is unlawful for an employer to prevent discussions to establish whether there are differences in pay as per the equality act 2010.
So can they stop everyone discussing pay (and the horrendously unfair payment discrepancies based entirely on how much a person is willing to be stroppy about their pay) or not?
