Hi,
I started a new job around 7 months ago, unfortunately the position isn't for me, (more responsibility than had been specified in job description etc) This caused my anxiety issues to make it impossible to continue working there.
I am paid salary and after 6 months am entitled to full company sick pay.
I decided that i needed to leave for the good of my health, I was signed off work from the doctors. I sent this note in (recorded delivery) with a letter explaining my situation and let them know that i was handing my notice in.
I have not heard anything back from them at all. No contact.
My only worry is that i wont get paid the company sick pay because it is to cover my notice period. Unfortunately my contract is at work so i have no way to see if anything about this situation is mentioned in it.
My anxiety is making it hard for me to contact them to ask.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
