My boss is a passive aggressive type and if you dare cross him your out. We have been getting on ok but a few weeks back he turned quite nasty towards me but wouldn't say what I had done. Despite me asking if I had done something wrong. The answer was no everything was fine. I took this as it was fine then. One afternoon we had a visit from the local employment agency. I queried this and was told it was for temp engineers. My boss then went on holiday for a week and returned the following Monday. That evening I had a job alert on my phone. I still get them from time to time. It was my job advertised with the agency that had been in the previous Friday afternoon. Naturally I was very upset and confronted my boss the following day. He denied it. I had spoken to the agency before speaking to him and they had pretty much described my job and its location. I didn't tell them who I was so they told all. My boss denies it all but the Tuesday evening the job was removed. Now I am panicking as I feel I can't trust him. And he is trying to get rid of me. I have been employed about 18 months. Legally my contract says that they have to give me a months notice if they terminate my contract. If they try and make me redundant where would I stand knowing he advertised my job previously? I haven't done anything wrong and think I am good at my job.
    Really worried. Please help.

Is your role/position a a single one in the company or are others employed in the same role/job title/position - For example a company could have any number of account managers carrying out the same roles, just managing different customers accounts to what other account manager manage.

When you say Boss, to you mean manager or the actual person/company that employes you and is it a limited company?

When you referred to his aggressive nature, can you give examples of such incidence involving his aggression towards you or others. Was their verbal abuse, physical abuse/assault, threats or anything a reasonable person would class as bullying/harassment?
