Hi All,
i had a car crash (i was the passenger) in April 2012 and this has left me with chronic migraines.
I have 4 to 6 a week and this has left me unable to work.
I have a meeting with my employer next week and they have implied that unless i can give them a reasonable date to start back to work (I'm still under treatment and awaiting further treatment) they are going to terminate my contract. I am Pub manager
I have worked them for over 10 years.
I have seen a Dr twice that my employer has asked me to see, and he agree that at present i cannot return to work, even on modified duty/other position.
I understand this from a business point of view but can i get them to hold off on terminating my contract ?
If not am I entitled to compensation ? holiday pay etc as my condition is beyond my control
