Ive posted before re contract. Now I need an extra set of brains to help me figure out and stand up for myself.

We all do the same job. None of us are ' trained' or assessed or reviewed. The big managers are remote and rely on the office winds to tell them whos doing what ehich of course depending on who you are and who likes you...can u imagine what can happen? With 90% of the staff each others friends and family it can be a very harmful workplace.

They never in my 2.5 yrs hsve disciplined anyone instead they use the rota as punishment. They always have way before I came..for example an employee takes one sick day...to get them bsck they took yhem off the rota all week. The ever changing hrs are a reflection of where u stand at that moment. They also dont promote on your good attendance etc instead its a one goes one moves up approach. Supposedly. Within the lsdt month 40 hrs have become available due to 2 employees leaving. I hsve been getting better shifts and heading toward stabilty. Please note Im one of 9 on fixed term contracts and these spsre shifts eould or should secure my being kept on. Unyet they have been slyly distributed. 10 hrs going to an ex bosses daughter and 16 to a fresh starter. The rest sre being rotated between myself and 2 others.
Its totally illogical when the hours are available to give set shifts to that they keep u messed about. Adding and subtracting sccording to gossip and whining. I asked them once why they keep some of us on varied shifts...the answer was we like the flexibilty it offers. I kind of understand that but they could have it both ways if they said it right.

We have no HR. The main bosses r miles away with no email addresses or personal numbers. The immediate on site bosses/ supervisors are a waste of time..they all have their favourites and have known many staff for years.

Yes I know..get out from this place and Im trying but I cant find a thing but please...in the meantime help me fight my corner. How do I tackle diplomatically a msnagement that does nothing the right and decent way. Many thanks in advance.

Can you do me a favor and pm me your email address? As i would be very interested in seeing a copy of your contract. You can off course remove your personal and employers details from the contract first, not that i would disclose your details to anyone.
