received a suspension letter from my employer today for gross misconduct as they do investigations. ok i work as a MRI radiographer for NHS, one morning i woke up and my 2 year old son had puss coming out of his nose, tried to look down but couldnt see what was going on. so i took him to the hospital were i work and carried out a scan on him myself, few minutes later took the scans to one of the doctors who confirmed that there was something down one of his nostrils. i then took him to A&E and they said we should make an appointment with the childrens ward, which we did and were asked to come two days later. we went for the appointment and they did manage to remove two small stones.
so now i have been suspended for scanning my child without referral from the GP. i did all this coz i panicked, i havent had an hearing yet. pliz help
