    Illegal or just sexism?

    I've just found out my company is running a leadership program but it's specifically for females. This hasn't been advertised openly but was communicated in a 121 email from someone in HR.

    The simple question is, is this legal under UK law? Is this discrimination allowed?

    Well it depends on what the leadership course is for, is it specifically designed course to train female employees in how to handle certain aspects of their roles? What industry are you in, care etc?

    We need more details about the course itself and the industry/sector you work in to be honest. As there could be numerous legitimate reasons why its a female only course!
