I wonder if I can get some advice regards an employment tribunal claim that I am taking against my former employer.
I was working for a company that was acquired by another around a year and a half ago. This then became the parent company and that company became part of a group of companies.
I was asked to feedback to the chairman of the group regards the conduct of my line managers, I was framed for something that went wrong by these individuals and dismissed.
On my claim, I have added two respondents, the company that I worked for and the parent company as part of my sacking was regards to the facilities owned by the parent company.
I have received a note from the judge asking if I want to let the parent company be dismissed from the claim as they sent there response form back saying that I was not employed by them.
I did have a contract and wage by the smaller company but when my solicitor approached them for clarification as to whether my employment had resulted in any TUPE they failed to respond until it was too late for me to file the papers, hence why they were included.
I hope that this makes sense but as the chairman was responsible in my whistleblowing claim I feel I should be going after both of them?
Any advice here would be gratefully received.
