Hi, Iv come here to seek some advice of what to do.
I am asking on behalf of my girlfriend who has just finished work at 35 weeks pregnant (works in a small hairdressers), she will not be returning to work due to her boss saying she cannot. During her time there she has been basically bullied. He recently said to her on her last day "come back when your skinny and had stitches" during her pregnancy he was asking her to bend down and scrub the floor etc. She has came home from work before crying to me and her family many times before due to the things that he was saying to her throughout the day. She was on a very small wage as she was only an apprentice through a training company but was actually employed by him.
As she has now finished work and just about got her qualification for the year, she wants something done about it.
Just wondering what the chances of her winning a tribunal case against him when its her word against his, she previously complained to her training company about the issues but that is the only "proof" she has as she does not believe that the other 2 people who work there will want to give evidence.
Can someone please tell us what the next step would be?
And also the chances of this being heard and what could happen if they find him guilty of whatever the accusations are?
Thanks!
