Hi, think i know the answer to this but here goes.
My company announced on Dec 12th they were closing the site and a period of consultation would begin on Dec 16th. However I'd seen this coming and had already applied for another job which was offered to me on Dec 17th and I accepted and handed my notice in. This was before I had even received an 'At Risk' letter so my employer is saying I wasn't at risk of redundancy and therefore am not entitled to anything. I'm guessing they are probably right, but is there any way I can claim anything? The sum involved is £11k so worth having. Any advice welcome.
