  • Cheesed Off

My ET case has now been ongoing for a considerable period of time and anxiety and depression continues to make my life very difficult. The behaviour of my ex employer and their legal representative has been appalling to say the least. In the last 2 years I've also had life threatening illness and my ability to cope is at an all time low!
All my potential witnesses have chosen to support the respondent due to still being employed, which I can understand. I've received demand after demand for further and better particulars, repeatedly asking the same questions. My name has been blackened by my ex employer, sad fact of being a WB!!!
I believe I may've jeopardised my case now in a moment of madness and just wonder where it's all going to end!
Do you think the tribunal will accept a doctor's note detailing acute anxiety, depression which has affected me in recent weeks?
The impact has been awful on my health and well being. I suspect their dirty tactics was all part of their attempt to grind me down.Your thoughts would be appreciated.

After listening to your story, I would advice you take some advice from a lawyer. I am sure you will get useful advice from a lawyer.

Do you think the tribunal will accept a doctor's note detailing my acute anxiety, depression and serious ongoing illness as mitigating circumstances? The impact has been awful on my health and well being. I suspect their dirty tactics was all part of their attempt to grind me down.Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Why don't you tell us a bit more about your situation? Without knowing what your ET case is all about, its hard to suggest anything.

When you say 'mitigating circumstances', what are you referring to? What were you accused of doing?
