Re: Work Programme provider would not let a crucial "Mandatory appointment" take plac

An update, I tried to get JCP (Ealing) to discuss (on the 24 December appointment) the above meeting not being allowed to take place (being the end of term meeting, a report of my time at Ingeus has also to be sent to my local JCP office). Now the local JCP office will not even talk to me about any of the above, this despite them telling us clients that "If you have any problems with them (Ingeus), tell us immediately as we pay for these people".
So it now back to square one for me.
I cant help thinking what would happen if I forced the police to attend, as surely I have more that enough evidence of the corrupt way they tried to suppress what has gone on. The staff under the influence while in charge of people's futures should be seen as criminal in my books, along with the management refusing to discuss it with affected clients, to refuse to turn up at a Jobcentre to discuss it, the fake advisor and the rest as well.

Edit: will try the Fraud investigation people one I've put all my evidence together.

As well as DWP Fraud Investigation, Les, you do need to get your MP involved asap. This matter needs to be formally investigated as taxpayers' money is involved. The other matter is that of public safety. By this I refer to Ingeus employees dealing with claimants when said employees appear to be "off their heads" on questionable substances. If you have evidence of them being in possession of such substances whilst on Ingeus premises, then you need to report this to the police, especially if Controlled Drugs are involved.

I think others tried to get the police involved as early as March/April, but were seemingly fobbed off with "see their manager or tell the job centre".
Having said that, as we clients were formally told our (Wembley) advisor is not in for a while due to his "serious habit issues", it must have been recorded formally at the time.
For evidence I am compiling a blow by blow timeline of my two years at Ingeus (it goes to 7 A4 pages), showing what happen (or didn't) how it affected me and when.
My MP (Ealing-Southall) and the Fraud authorities will be contacted once I've asked why my last and crucial interview was deliberately not held (as I need some idea of how they are going to fight this whole scenario).

edit: Incidentally there seems to be a whistle blower of some kind at one of the offices as two media outfits have contacted me the last even had my mobile number (I've never given that to the other clients only Ingeus/Jobcentre). The first (BBC) led to interviews etc, but the drug abuse issues (and the consequent "alleged" nature of them) led to my story being pulled from the programme a week before the programme finally aired (Radio 4's file on 4).

You are probably correct on that particular point, Les. From what you say, it does sound like there is a whistleblower at work somewhere. Those who demonise whistleblowers are usually those who have something to hide and who are terrified of exposure. Someone clearly does not agree with what is going on within the DWP and Ingeus and has the backbone and courage to expose what is going on. If the police are fobbing people off, this is more reason for MPs to get involved and have Bernard Hogan-Howe, IDS and the directors of Ingeus hauled before a House of Commons Select Committee to explain what is going on.

Personally, it would appear that cutting off Ingeus's supply of taxpayers' money is long overdue and MPs should not be afraid to overrule the civil servants who feel they can ignore the will of the people.

If anybody is still interested, I've go no further yet. But if anybody has a facebook account I've had a timeline of my two years at Ingeus on the Daily Mirror's facebook page for a while now. This shows how bad things really were there re the substance abuse. I've put evidence to back it all up as uploads in among the comments, To see them you might need to open some of the replies/comments. Here is the link to it. https://www.facebook.com/dailymirror...52241563449162

Was sent this last week. The attached picture ( a working version can be found here: http://ingeusstaff.co.uk/diagram ). Shows what the timetable is for clients referred to Ingeus Work Programme.
Well not one of those modules shown ever took place in my case, due to staff inability of one sort or another, and they even deliberately missed their own mandatory appointments in the last few months after the BBC started asking questions. To me that is a 100% total failure, yet it was me who was sanctioned.
No wonder IDS & ministers are having a hard time with privatised outsourcing of their employment related work.

It seems that INGEUS, when translated from Latin, means "huge". Huge what? Huge joke? Huge waste of taxpayers' money? Huge rip-off?

Feel free to add what huge thing you feel Ingeus is.
