  • Contract changes

I have worked for my employer for nearly 11 years, the first 2 years when I joined the transport company was doing one job but the after the 2 years the company put me through my hgv class 2 test which when I passed I went workin on the hgv and have done for the last 9 years! But my contract is still for my original job roll! Now my employer is saying because our contract is for the original job role they are training us back up and putting us on my old job! Which I don't want to!

i was looking for advise on this matter! I have been told there was a law that if u do the same job for so long you inherit the contract but don't know if this right! It does affect about 10 of us! We did ask for a contract years ago but was told they don't give the contracts out a anymore for hgv but then they give one person it because he was a relation of a manager at the time

    thanks for your help
