  • Grievance guidance

Any thoughts on the following would be appreciated...

Submitted a grievance in work against a MGR & Director. For all intents & purposes this has been ignored. The only acknowledgement of it was actually via an email which invited me to rescind it !!! I said No, naturally, and suggested I wish to keep the grievance 'live, so to speak, yet still it has not been actioned/acknowledged. This was May 2013...

I have to be vague about the following because of 'where' I work...

It pertained to the fact I have a hearing problem & now have to wear two hearing aids. I asked, via 'reasonable adjustment', to be relocated to a different environment. Access to work have to assess me before I can return to work so long as I provide them with my new role y'see. The 'company' have thus far refused to give me a new role. I have been off work since Nov 2012. And now there are redundancies in the offing and I fear I'm an 'easy' option...

As said, I know it's vague, but there are security implications to giving any more detail...

    Many thanks...
