I don't think my employers have classed it as a loan but more of an overpayment and have just labeled it a loan for wage slip purposes. I have contacted tax credits again who spoke to one of their managers and again they say they cant do anything as they have to go by my gross pay. I have been my local CAB today who have given me some advice. They told me to try to appeal the tax credit decision also to write to my employers HR head office to see what they can do and also gave me the number for taxaid who give advice for benefit and tax issues also the directgov community legal advice number. I honestly don't know what to write to my HR or the tax credits people or how to word it.
