  • Stress Evaluation Form Call During Sick Note

I currently work from home for a company called under the campaign of . Although this is all done online, the environment is horrible. I have addressed in countless times that the training was poor and that they were running a new campaign without any awareness, something I have addressed too to the DWP by going into my local Job Centre.

I've been out from work since the beginning of October and I got a sick note after having a panic attack twice during that and the previous week. I currently have tremor movements and I am out from work for anxiety under a sick note running until the 3rd week of November, that includes personal events where my family was affected after Milton's Hurricane and the way they have done things at work.

I am now been asked to fill a Stress Evaluation Form by receiving a call from my Team Leader, who has lied in countless opportunities saying that he's been unable to contact me on the past, while other members like HR or other Team Leaders, have had no issues at all.

I don't want to deal with this situation on my own, as I said before I've reported the behaviour of this my Team Leader to HR, which never took action (this was almost a month ago).

I also requested a flexible work scheme as I have shared parent responsibilities that was never performed. I also applied to the Access to Work Scheme, almost 2 months ago (start of my employment), they agreed to the costs, they have the forms and they have never sent it over.

There's countless of reasons of why I want to be heard by the right people and I have never had access to any of them. I got evidence and proof of every wrong doing they have done.

In short, I wonder if I just need to deny the invitation under my current sick note or if someone else can provide advice of what should be done in this case.

    Thanks!

Several questions arise from what you have said.

    1. Did you raise an informal or formal grievance with HR about your team leader.
    2. When you put in a flexible work request did you do this is the required format and when did you do this?
    3. Who has the Access to Work Scheme forms not quite sure if they are still with them or with your employer.

However in answer to the question you have come to the forum for then I suggest you do consider going ahead with the Stress Evaluation call if you feel well enough to do so as you are signed off when this is due to take place but I would ask that is is not conducted by your Team Leader but by either HR or another Team Leader.

It appears you have only been in this job a few months, is that correct and when did you start?
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.

      1. I tried but they did never came back. Apparently HR does not exists in this company and is managed from South Africa and the UK at the same time.
      2. Yes. More than a month ago.
      3. Access to work completed the form the last week of September and sent to the company forms for them to sign. I never heard back from them.

Everything is a mess from this company and it seems that the TLs work as whole HR, being given instructions from someone elses above them.

I started on this job on the 16th of September. In my 41 years of life I've never received such a bad training. My first experience working from home was completely ruined because of this.

I don't want to answer any call as the person who is doing the call is directly my TL. It's absolute madness.

If you feel like that and given you have only been here a relatively short time maybe consider looking for a new job.

Is there no-one in the company you can escalate your situation to? I cannot imagine that there is not someone in management that you cannot email and set out all the issue with your TL, the progress of the forms completed by Access to Work and your request for flexible working request.
