    Marketing redundancy

    I have been told my job is at risk of redundancy as my role does not exist under restructuring.

    Does my employer have to offer alternative employment?

    Can my duties be given to an agency?

    Can they employ people in the future to do my tasks?

    In answer to your questions:

    1. Your employer is only able to offer you suitable alternative employment if they actually have a role available to offer.
    2. Can you elaborate on this one please - what do you mean agency? Are they outsourcing your role?
    3. Yes they can employ people in the future if the business has a need for someone in that role.
