So my husband's employer has made it known this morning they are making 10 people redundant.
Fair enough the company is £3 Million in debt according to Companies House.
This is the issue.
The employer is operating with full overtime and you get a bonus on top if you do 8 hours overtime.
Surely if the overtime is still going can they make people redundant?
I always thought under Employment Law, that you had to take preventive measures like stopping the overtime before laying anyone off?
