Health Discrimination and Wrongful Termination
Hello, I have anxiety and insomnia disorders for which I discussed with my doctor. I have been on Paxil for 15 years. Frequent verbal abuse from my boss and the HR person lately has exacerbated these symptoms.
I was terminated on Monday and am consulting with an employment attorney tomorrow for 15 minutes. As I mentioned discrimination, my boss disciplined me and denied me privileges given to other coworkers. He wrote me up for an attendance policy that no one else in our department needs to adhere to and denied me work remote when the others were given it freely. I was the only woman in the department and my boss was a male.
I would appreciate any feedback you may have for me about a possible case. Thank you.
