  • Health and wellbeing meeting

Hi, on the 20th I put in a 4 week sick note due to stress because work were basically telling me I can't go home until everything has been done 2 days on the run, I'm contracted 8hrs a day on the first occasion I did 10 hours and was told couldn't go so I walked out, on the second time I did 11 hours again was told I couldn't go so walked out , none of this extra time was agreed or even asked,

Fast forward to now on the 25th I've received a letter inviting me to a health and wellbeing meeting on the 29th with the same 2 managers who told me I couldn't go home

All these unexpected hours are starting to cause issues at home, I hardly get to see my 2 young kids but this managers says having young kids is no excuse, I'll add it wasn't just these last 2 days where I was expected to do extra hours, I do over my contract pretty much every week in the last year and a half I've been there

Can they invite me to a meeting so soon especially when there the ones causing the issues?

Firstly does the company have a Sickness Absence policy and is there mention of health and well being meeting for staff who present Fitness to Work certificates with "extended" sickness absence?

Are you being asked to attend an office location or is it via video. If you are being asked into an office location how do you feel about this?

Does your company have and HR department?
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.
