Having worked for a local authority for over 40 years, I now find my job at risk of redundancy due to financial reasons. I'm currently in the consultation process, which ends soon. It is likely that I'll be given 12-weeks notice, as finding a position within the organisation is hard at my pay grade level (I can apply for posts on my grade and one below). My team members have been offered redeployment positions within the organisation.
I also have several casual roles within the organisation working with other departments in addition to my full-time post, which again I've held for several years. My question is: I've heard during the notice period that I will not be able to continue working the casual roles until the notice period ends, and I wondered if this is true or not.
