    Hourly rate

    Hi, I am new to this site just wondering if any one would have a comment on my issue.
    I have just started working as a pa on a taxi on a school run. I am aware that other workers are on living wage hourly rate, I have not been givern an hourly rate but a set wage for the run, my time sheet doesn't show hourly rate ony a figure. I am doing different runs some days so the hours I work can vary but i get same amount. I know the other workers do have hourly rates, I think mine is like this so employer is going to avoid giving me extra when the living wage goes up in April.
    I would welcome your thoughts as to whether this is legal.

    Do you mean living wage or minimum wage?

    You say you have a set wage, does your contract state how many hours a week you are expected to work?
