I joined my current employer in May last year and was given my contract which stated on the first page there would be no CSP during the first Year. On the 3rd page it goes into further details as can be seen in the 2nd photo.
I had an accident at work and have been off for the past 3 months and have only received SSP I have questioned the last paragraph of the sickness policy with my manager but they insist I only get SSP as per my contract.
would it be worth me taking this further ?

You could raise the highlighted photo in respect of CSP if you did report the accident and followed the H&S requirements and see if that gets a positive response.

However be prepared for your employer to argue that that only relates when over 1 year of service had been achieved. My view though is that this is not clearly set out that section and could be interpreted as being applicable in an period of service including less than one year.
