I've just been told by my manager that my annual review is tomorrow and that the decisions have already been made "so just put anything in the holistic column." This has been a very tough year for me, I started to manage a different shift last January after being off for five months with mental health difficulties, I resumed in January with the knowledge that I was waiting for an ADHD assessment (which I told my boss about at the time.)
Each month I'm supposed to have a one to one with my manager but he only managed four, at no point through the year was my performance questioned yet now I'm told I'm being scored down needing improvement. In June I was diagnosed with combined type ADHD, the company are aware of this diagnosis should they have factored this into their decision making process when conducting the appraisals for what's known here as the "beauty pageant" due to the blue eyes getting everything?
