Hi all - first time poster.
I’ve started a job in a firm just outside London - but it’s not going to work for me due to travel etc, I’ve had a change in circumstances.
I was looking at the contract and it states:
The first 12 weeks of your employment will be a probationary period and your employment may be terminated during this period at any time on one week's prior notice.
My reading of that is either party (ie the company, or me) can terminate the employment with a week’s notice.
Is that correct?
