What redress is there against the individual and company concerned, when the company are using grossly inflated claims about the experience and qualifications of one of thier directors on thier website, using these claims to gain commercial and competitive advantage?

This might depend on what is being claimed. For example some regulatory bodies clamp down on false claims to certain qualifications.
