  • My colleague told me: "I preferably would strangle you". What should I do?

    Hi.
Yesterday I had argue with my work colleague and while I tried to stay very professional she was angry and said quoted:

"I told M (partner) that I cannot even look at you. I preferably would strangle you, so much you pissing me off. Sorry that I swore but I cannot stand this anymore. I really cannot look at you. M told me that "you are not going to work tomorrow". We don't know how to work together, maybe because we have the same zodiac sign."

I was completely shocked at the time of the situation and I didn't respond to that but now I feel upset I can't stop thinking what she said.
What should I do in this situation?
    Thank you.

Have you reported this to management/HR?

Stay as clear as you can and report it to management. Under all circumstances do nothing to allow counter allegations.

As advised you need to report the behaviour of your colleague as soon as possible to either HR if your company has this function or a senior manager.
